The majestic Dragon is a mythological creature found across many beliefs and cultures. In European mythology, the Dragon has been known to be a creature of chaos and evil, while in Asian culture, it is a protector and sign of wealth and fortune. While the dragon generally carries similar reptile-like features across these beliefs, the Asian dragons more closely resemble snakes, with their serpentine bodies and slithering forms. Western dragons are able to stand more upright and have dinosaur-like features. The piece features a more snakelike creature, that is wrapping its body around in a spiral as it spreads its eagle-like wings. Carvings are etched on with a high level of detail as you can identify the scales and the wings of the creature. This Innovato Design product is available in both a shiny silver and a rustic gold, both variants carrying touches of a black metal finish to highlight the design features.
