According to experts, the diamond must have the Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat also knowns as the 4 C’s. However, most of all, it needs to be certified by a third-party institution. Gemological Institute of America or GIA is the most recommended, for it does not gain any financial stake upon the sale if the certified diamond. The certificate would tell you precisely what you are purchasing and is the jewelry worth your money. An expert diamond cutter would be able to play with the cut of a diamond and hide some of its imperfections. The color ranges from D – Z with the letter D being the whitest and purest of all color.
