Hand carved and polished at the edges, this tribal cross is made from a natural obsidian stone, which is a type of volcanic glass formed as an igneous rock. The Obsidian is known as a protective stone that shields the wearer against negativity while absorbing energies that form stress and tension. Aside from the mystic properties of the stone, it also has a very aesthetic look. The stone is polished to a shiny, glass finish at the edges and on the oval center, which is highlighted even further by a carved oval frame. Attached to this pendant from Innovato Design is a knotted macrame rope necklace that carries polished obsidian beads. The ends of the rope form multiple tassels that are to be tied together to form a lock.
